The Killington Renaissance Faire will open its gates to Vermonters and tourists who are looking for a fun and interactive family experience on Sat & Sun August 7 & 8 and 14 & 15. August 10 Tues 3:30 pm to 5 pm - Killington Arts Guild Annual Meeting at the Library. Speaker Marilyn Copson on "Mandalas." Are they an art form or a meditation device? Open to the public. No Charge.

August 12 Thurs 10 am to 12 pm - "Mandalas" Workshop with Copson at the Library. Participants can create either a classical motif or a free form design. A small fee is asked for materials. Register by phone 802-422-3824.

August 25 Wed 7 pm - KAG Meeting "A Journey to Changing China" video and talk with Jill Dye and Wayne Finger at the Library. Open to the public. No Charge.

August 26 Thurs 9:30 am to 1:30 pm - "Chinese Watercolor/Brush Painting Workshop" with Jill Dye. Center yourself, sip tea and paint with joy and serenity. Finish with Chinese calligraphy. $35 for KAG members; $40 for all others. Supplies and beverages included, bring sandwich.

August 27 Fri - KAG Art Show at the Paramount Opens at 5:30 pm. Artists should bring their work to the theater between 10 am and 1 pm on August 21st. Alice Sciore will hang them. September 11 Sat 9:30 am to 3:30 pm - KAG Watercolor Workshop with Robert O'Brien at the Library. $40 for KAG members; $45 for all others. Bring your supplies and a sandwich. Beverages provided. O'Brien is a member of the American Watercolor Association and as a teacher is very popular in Vermont. Register early to avoid disappointment. Call 422-3824.

September 14 Tues 7 pm - KAG Meeting at the Library. Speaker artist Peter Cooper, "Sources of Inspiration".  Cooper will discuss recent shows and future prospects. Open to the public. No Charge.

September 18 Sat 9:30 am to 3 pm - Linda Treash, Photography Workshop. $50 for KAG members; $55 for all others. Materials supplied, bring a sandwich.

October 12 Tues 7 pm - KAG Meeting at the Library, "A Gathering of Poets". KAG Poets and others reading their own poems or their favorites. The public is invited to attend and participate. No Charge.

November 9 Tues 7 pm - KAG Meeting at the Library, "Potluck Trio" Playing and talking about themselves and their music. Public Welcome. No Charge.

December 3 Fri - Deadline for "Contest the Town of Killington's Annual Report". For further information contact Jerry LeBlond or call KAG.

December 7 Tues 7 pm - KAG Meeting at the Library, "How to Organize Your Meals Like a Professional". Ted Fondulas owner and chef of Hemmingway's Restaurant Killington, VT. The public is invited. No Charge.

December 14 Tues 12 pm - KAG "Community Holiday Potluck Luncheon" with holiday and carol singing at the Library. No Charge.

At selected times artists and craftsmen are invited to bring work in progress to KAG Workshops. Some instruction provided.

No Charge KAG Meetings and workshops are held at the Sherburne Memorial Library, River Road, Killington, VT.

No regular meetings will be held in January and February 2005 but will resume in March.
